ALMA journeys are intentionally small and personal. With a limited number of travelers on each journey, we can go deeper, build genuine connections, experience the culture more authentically, and make sure every traveler gets the most possible from the adventure.

And that means who we travel with matters.

Your ALMA Traveler Profile gives us a chance to get to know you: what you hope to experience, your spirit of adventure, how you approach new situations, and what you’ll bring to a small group traveling together.

We’re looking for travelers who are curious, flexible, respectful, ready to connect with others, willing to step outside their comfort zones, and excited to Age Out Loud through culture, connection, service, and adventure.

A $250 Traveler Profile Deposit is required when you submit your profile.

If you are selected and join the journey:  Your entire $250 deposit will be credited toward the $7,750 journey price, leaving a balance of $7,500.

If you are not selected:  ALMA will issue a full refund of your $250 deposit, without deductions, to your original payment method within 20 calendar days after notifying you of that decision. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the refund.

Submitting your Traveler Profile Deposit does not guarantee acceptance or confirm a reservation. This policy does not limit any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law. Because our trips are intentionally limited in size, each profile is personally reviewed to help us create a group of travelers who will not only enjoy the experience, but will help make the journey extraordinary for one another.
